Suede
颇有影响的英国摇滚乐队，乐队成立于1989年。乐队的成长经历了整个九十年代英国英式摇滚（Brit-pop）的发展历程，也是其中的代表乐队之一。乐队的主唱 Brett Anderson 在1967年9月29日出生于离伦敦不远的一个小镇上，父亲是出租车司机，母亲则是一位不太成功的艺术家。 Brett Anderson 本名 Brett Lewis Anderson 是乐队的灵魂人物，兼作词作曲极具才华。Suede 在1993年推出的同名专集，获得了巨大成功，入围多个排行榜。直到2003年乐队共出版了7张专辑，随后乐队便宣布解散。
SUEDE由主唱Brett　Anderson、吉他手Richard　Oakes、贝斯手Mat　Osman、鼓    
手Simon　Gilbert及键盘手Alex　Lee所组成，然而这并非创团之初的成员。Anderson、Osman 早在1989年时这两位多年好友就曾组过乐团。后来他们透过在《NME》杂志上刊登广告的方式，找到前来应征的吉他手Bernard Butler。三个人先组成了一支没有鼓手，而依靠机器设定来填补鼓点的乐团。又过了一段日子，他们结识了曾经在伦敦ULU兜售小型演唱表演票卷的鼓手Gilbert，在相谈甚欢的情况下，三人决定邀Gilbert加入阵容。最后入团的是第二吉他手Justine Frischmann，乐团至此方才完全成型。 1995 年，由于种种原因，被英国媒体比作吉他之神Eric Clapton的乐队吉他手和作曲者Bernard Butler 选择离开。
